Seize The Day

The 1956 Saul Bellow novel, "Seize The Day," brought this catchy line into the public consciousness, and its message can be seen today in all manner of literature, film and pop culture.



But what does it mean? How should the non-believer (or any human being) approach each day? Is "Seize The Day" merely a romantic yet impractical charge more suited to fiction, or is it something that can be embraced as a philosophy for living?
